Back in January Katie and Lynsey did a photoshoot for Chloe magazine, and most of the pictures were shared on Tomboy KC during the past few weeks. Now the issue is out and the girls share her best tips and recommendations for anyone who wants to visit Dallas, the city where TKC’s headquarters are located. The magazine is available here, and of course you can find the pictures and scans in our gallery:
Yesterday was the season finale of Legends of Tomorrow and the promised scene between the Lance sisters, where Sara and Laurel reunited in a vision from the Spear of Destiny.
In this interview with Variety, Marc Guggenheim talked about the scene and the decision to keep Katie on Arrow:
Katie Cassidy is returning for the finale as Laurel. How was it having her share scenes with Sara (Caity Lotz) again?
MG: It’s always a delight to have Katie Cassidy come back and reprise her role as Laurel. It’s just one scene but it’s an incredibly pivotal scene, and I think it’s very moving.
I was excited to see Katie was returning as a series regular to “Arrow,” but I honestly had my fingers crossed that Black Siren would become a member of the Legends.
MG:That was something we had talked about. For us, the whole conversation about bringing Katie back as a series regular on “Arrow” began with her performance in the midseason premiere. We briefly spoke about bringing her on “Legends,” but I think from a story perspective we would get far more mileage out of her interacting with the cast of “Arrow.”

First of all I’m sorry for the very late post, I had to close the gallery for a few days to fix some issues… but anyway, Katie attended Heroes & Villains Fan Fest on March 25 – 26 in Chicago and she had a panel with part of the Arrow cast, but unfortunately no videos yet. However the big news was only revealed the day after, when Marc Guggenheim announced that Katie is returning to Arrow.

It’s finally official folks: Katie is returning to Arrow as Black Siren in the last two episodes of season 5, and she will stick around for next season.
“One of the things that most excites us about Arrow is that we go where the story takes us. Last year, the story took us to the tragic death of Laurel Lance. This year, our midseason finale reintroduced us to Laurel’s doppelgänger, Black Siren,” said executive producer Marc Guggenheim in a statement.
“We were so taken by Katie’s fearless interpretation of this character that we knew her story was not yet finished. We couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome Katie back to Arrow as Black Siren, though as her appearances on Arrow and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow this season show, she never really left the family.”
Reminder that Katie will also be on the season finale Legends of Tomorrow, and according to Guggenheim it will be a very emotional scene.
